Please note that legally I will need the following:

1. The physical prescription. You can get this to me by mail, fax, or scanning the prescription and emailing it to me.

2.       A pupillary distance measurement…better known as “the PD”. You can get this from the doctor, the optician, or you can contact me for other options. There may be other measurements depending on the prescription or lenses needed at which I will know once I see the prescription.

I am a Licensed Optician and legally licensed to be able to sell, make and dispense eyeglasses. I have been Licensed and in the optical industry for over 20 years. Most on-line eyeglass companies are not run nor maintained by Licensed Opticians or there may just be one on staff to keep it legal depending on the state it is in. At most opticals the majority of the employees are not Licensed Opticians either. They will usually have one licensed person on duty to keep the operations legal.
