When choosing who to buy from and what to buy for your child's eyewear needs can be confusing. There are some important things I would like for you to keep in mind about KinderOptics. Here are a few reasons why:
I listen to you. And I care.
I am a parent and I understand every child is different. I want to know about their visual history, if they have special needs we need to consider, what kinds of eyewear they have tried, I even want to know simple things like what colors they like. There may be something no matter how small you tell me that will help me fit them.
I make sure you are happy.
I have heard over and over so many times parents telling me they have spent a lot of money on their child's eyewear for them not fit or the child not like them. I do not want that to happen. I am not in business to have unhappy customers. I want to know if something does not work and I will make it right. Contact with me within 30 days of receiving eyewear and I will exchange or honor any and all manufacturer warrenties. I only purchase from reputable companies that warrenty their products. I will go above and beyond to make you and your child happy.
I have experience and knowledge.
I have been a Licensed Optician for over 20 years. I have a AS degree in Opticianry and a BA in Business Management. I have worked for a large healthcare company in their optometry department, retail optical chains, and a large opthamology practice. These different types of offices have given me experience in working with different types of patients and their different needs. I have experience with working with visually impaired patients. I have experience in doing lab work as well so I have a hands on knowledge of how cosmetically a prescription will look or work in a particular frame. I also have had a lot of experience in contact lenses.
As a Licensed Optician we are constantly having to attend continuing education for our License so that keeps me abreast of new products and technology. I love finding and learning about new products.
What about insurance.
I know lots of parents have vision insurance. I am not taking anything presently. I am in process of checking to see if I am able to become a provider. I will happily fill out any insurance paperwork you may have for reimbursment. I have tried to chose eyewear that are resonable priced for parents if you do or don't have insurance. The frames your purchase from me for your child's prescription can easily be taken to an optician that takes your insurance to use you lens benefit for the lenses. Please contact me with questions or help as I am knowledgeable about most vision insurance plans and I can help you with it.
What about the Lenses.
Currently, I will make prescription lenses also on a case by case basis. I want to see first if there is a big request for me to make the eyewear completely with the lenses included. I would LOVE to provide that service regularly. I am very experienced in this and I have an excellent lab to work with on this. I also will offer very reasonable priced lenses. Please contact me and I will be happy to look at your child's prescription.
What about warranties.
All warrenties aside, I want you to be happy. I will honor all manufacturer warrenties on all eyewear. I only purchase products from reputable companies that offer quality products and warrenties with them. If you or your child is just not happy with your purchase you can let me know within 30 days of receiving them and I will gladly exchange them or refund your money. Please contact me and let me know. A happy customer is a return customer and is the best form of advertising I can ever get.
Looking for something you don't see.
I am here to help you. If you have seen something or looking for something you may not know exisits please contact me. I can research and try to find it for you. I am always looking for products to add that may be helpful to other parents. I will do my absolute best to get what you may be searching for.

I LOVE what I do.
